Meet The Course Instructors
MICHELLE MCCARVER
Michelle McCarver has a bachelors and masters degree in Music Education. She has taught Kindergarten - fifth grade music in Oklahoma in both public and private school settings. She is currently teaching in Broken Arrow Public Schools, and was selected as the District Teacher of the Year in 2021. Michelle has presented workshops for various Orff chapters, and has recently presented at the AOSA professional development conference. She is an AOSA-approved level instructor in both pedagogy and movement.
CHARLOTTE RUDOLPH
Charlotte Rudolph has been enthusiastically teaching and creating music with the students of the South Fayette School District for the past 18 years. Helping and watching children grow as musicians and people is her aspiration and joy. As the 2020 recipient of the PMEA District 1 Citation of Excellence in Teaching Award, Charlotte is a certified recorder teacher educator for AOSA levels courses and has presented at numerous music education conferences and workshops. She received both her Bachelor and Master degrees from Duquesne University. Currently, Charlotte serves as the Secretary of the South Fayette Education Association and as Parliamentarian of the Pittsburgh Golden Triangle AOSA Chapter.
JEN LUCAS
Jennifer Lucas has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Master's degree in Education. She has been teaching 27 years in Missouri Public Schools. Currently, she teaches at Pheasant Point Elementary School in O'Fallon, Missouri. There, she has presented workshops, focused on movement and dance, for district music staff. She also shared for her local AOSA chapter. She is an AOSA-approved levels instructor in movement.
